Viroqua Hills Golf Club

Introducing the Viroqua Hills Golf Course...this is an 18-hole public golf course located in beautiful Viroqua, WI. Playing over 6300 yards, the Viroqua Hills Golf Course features spectacular scenic views, rolling hills, undulating greens, and excellent course conditions. This golf course will challenge every area of your game. The 3rd hole is one of the most difficult on the course. This par 4 is over 450 yards. Out of bounds protects the entire left side of the hole with trees on the right. A tee shot down the right hand side of the fairway eliminates the out of bounds, but makes the angle of approach of the second shot more difficult. Find the fairway and you are faced with a long, downhill second shot to a multi-tiered green protected by a large bunker on the right. You must find the correct portion of the green or you will have a tricky time lag putting. Good luck and have fun! Reserve your Viroqua Hills Golf Course tee times below!

Course photo for Woodland Golf ClubPublic tee-time evidence

Cable, OH

Woodland Golf Club

Long before the first tee shot was ever taken, the land that is now Woodland Golf Club was open pasture. It was owned by the Woodruff family and shaped by the agricultural roots of Champaign County. In 1971, plans were officially announced to turn this property into a championship golf course. Designed by Columbus-based PGA professional Jack Kidwell, Woodland opened its first nine holes in 1972, with the full 18-hole course completed by 1974. From the beginning, it was built to be a welcoming place for both public and semi-private golfers, with rolling fairways, natural water features, and a relaxed atmosphere that put people first. For decades, Woodland became a destination for league nights, weekend rounds, family traditions, and lifelong friendships. It grew into a place where golf and community came together naturally. Then, in 2021, the story came full circle. The Woodruff family reacquired Woodland Golf Club, returning ownership of the land to the same family whose pasture helped give it life more than 50 years earlier. Today, Woodland blends its history with a renewed focus on the future, staying true to where it started while continuing to invest in what comes next. Woodland is more than a golf course. It is a story of land, legacy, and community, one round at a time.
