Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club

Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club offers one of the area's most unique and memorable golf experiences on the Eastern Shore and is located in Ocean View, Delaware, just 3 miles west of Bethany Beach. Winding bentgrass fairways are lined with native wetland grasses that drift into stunning sand dunes on this natural golf course. Impeccably groomed oversized greens and four strategically placed sets of tees beckon golfers of every skill level. After just a few minutes at this facility, you will see why these 27 holes of scenic beauty are the locals' favorite. A former associate of Jack Nicklaus, course architect Rick Jacobson has won acclaim for his course designs. In Rick’s own words, “Bear Trap Dunes is visually unique because of its ample use of sand dunes – adhering to the coastal area’s natural terrain. Because of strategically placed dunes, grassy hollows, bunkers and water hazards, players will have to ‘think’ their way through each hole.”

Cinnabar Hills Golf Club

Peacefully tucked in and around the hills, a short drive south of fast-paced Silicon Valley, Cinnabar Hills Golf Club blends championship-caliber golf with spectacular views. San Jose's first public course to open in 30 years was designed by award-winning architect John Harbottle III. Each hole has been crafted to maintain the natural slope of the area and to protect the wildlife residing here. Hundreds of old oaks were incorporated into the layout and seedlings from those oaks were nurtured and planted to further enhance the landscape. Inspiring the golf club's logo, red-tail hawks can be seen flying over the course or even perched in a tree. Named for the rich, red ore mined here during the 1800's, Cinnabar Hills offers golfers three distinct nines: the Canyon, the Lake and the Mountain. To warm-up and/or perfect your game, Cinnabar Hills boasts a grass-tee driving range, chipping area and three putting greens surrounding a stand-alone snackbar ready to serve you.

Palm Springs, CA

Indian Canyons Golf Resort - South Course

Indian Canyons Golf Resort— South Course is the jewel of a 36-hole golf facility that spreads out over 550 acres on the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation in Palm Springs. The course is one of the most popular tee time options in the prolific Coachella Valley golf mecca because it is fun and playable for golfers of all skill levels, sublimely beautiful, and very affordable. Surrounded by the San Jacinto Mountains in Palm Springs’ s jaw-dropping canyon district, it is just 10 minutes south of downtown Palm Springs. Known as one of the best value courses in the Coachella Valley, Indian Canyons Golf Resort— South Course has appeared on national lists of the Best Courses You Can Play Under $100 as well as Golf Advisor’ s honor roll of Top Courses in California. Originally built by William F. Bell in the early 1960s, the course was once part of a private club that was a favorite playground of Hollywood celebrities like Frank Sinatra and Bob Hope. In 2004 course architect Casey O’ Callahan, with player consultant LPGA legend Amy Alcott, completely redesigned the playing field. When you play Indian Canyons Golf Resort— South Course, you feel like you are in an oasis. The mountains in the canyon district help shield the golf grounds from Palm Springs’ s notorious wind. Aside from a corner of the golf course and the 15th hole, you don't play anywhere near houses here. With five sets of tee markers, the layout can play as short as 4,826 yards and as long as 6,560 yards. Thanks to Amy Alcott’ s contributions, the forward tees on the Indian Canyons Golf Resort— South Course provide an intriguing and appropriate challenge that makes the course a draw for women. The entire layout sports nice variety, as there are five par 3s, eight par 4s, and five par 5s. You’ ll find generous fairways, large undulating greens, and a number of shorter par 4s that are especially fun. Stunning vistas predominate, while four lakes and nearly 900 palm trees add to the aesthetics and strategy of the layout. The majority of the palms are Washingtonia Filifera (recognizable by their wide palm-frond skirts), which hold special meaning for the Agua Caliente tribal community. Practice facilities include a grass driving range and a putting green. The South Course has its own clubhouse featuring a well-stocked pro shop and a bar and grill with seating indoors and outdoors showcasing golf course and mo
