Oyster Reef Golf Club

One of the finest golf courses in the beautiful Low Country of South Carolina is situated in Hilton Head Plantation on Hilton Head Island. Opened in 1982, it was immediately recognized as one of the top 25 new courses in America, a tribute to nationally acclaimed course designer, Rees Jones. Jones took complete advantage of the natural features of the land, transforming low areas into beautiful lagoons and creating magnificent tree-lined corridors from tee to green. Mr. Jones said, "I designed Oyster Reef to be a beautiful, strategically challenging course with fairness in mind on each of its 18 holes. I also felt it important that a golfer should never cease to enjoy playing Oyster Reef." Since 1982, golfers have attested not only to the fairness of Oyster Reef, but also to the subtle difficulties that make it a challenge every time it's played. With a respectable number of bunkers, dog legs, water and other natural hazards, Oyster Reef provides a reasonable test of skill for every handicap level. In addition to its 190 acres of scenic natural beauty and challenging layout, Oyster Reef also enjoys the enviable reputation of being one of the best maintained golf courses on Hilton Head. Playable twelve months a year, Oyster Reef is truly an island favorite. Oyster Reef's spectacular 18-hole championship course features a challenging layout surrounded by beautiful lagoons, lush vegetation and scenic views of Port Royal Sound. Numerous bunkers, dog-legs, water hazards and other subtle difficulties add to the thrill of this unforgettable golf experience. Beyond the greens, members and guests relax and unwind in the beauty of the clubhouse, which offers fine and casual dining, a grill room, men's and ladies' locker rooms and a complete golf shop.

Keller, TX

Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club

Welcome to Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club! For three quarters of a century, the Jones name has been synonymous with imaginative, well-crafted, environmentally sensitive golf course design. Expanding upon his father’s considerable legacy, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. established Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects – an innovative modern golf course design firm with global reach and a reputation for creating value. Along with his award-winning team, Jones strives to incorporate the unique character and distinct topographical features of each site into the design, diminishing their impact on the environment. As early as the 1970s, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. was introducing new ideas for integrating golf with coastal wetlands and other sensitive environments, enhancing wildlife habitats while creating playable golf courses rich with strategic value. Jones crafted this Texas golf gem in the old style, leaving the terrain completely natural. Offering a perfect balance of playability and strategy, the course features undulating Bermuda fairways framed by corridors of stately oak trees, including numerous doglegs; meticulously manicured, tiered bentgrass greens; an abundance of white sand bunkers; and breathtaking views. Jones’ reverence for nature is evident in every rugged bend. The picturesque Big Bear Creek comes into play on 16 of the 18 holes, with numerous lakes and tributaries adding to the course’s spectacular beauty…as well as its challenge. While difficult enough to test the mettle of scratch golfers, multiple tees on each hole enable golfers of all abilities to enjoy the subtle nuances and unique design elements that have brought Jones worldwide acclaim. Among the numerous tournaments that have been held at Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club are the 2007 Texas State Public Links Championships; the 2008 Gateway Tour; the 2008 Texas Mid Amateur Qualifier; and the 2007, 2008, 2012, and 2013 U.S. Amateur Qualifier.
