Historical course listing: The Squires Country Club at 4970 Country Club Road in the Port Washington area is the former golf property now known as Forest Beach Migratory Preserve. A 2020 account by a Western Great Lakes Bird and Bat Observatory board member identifies the former Squires course and the land trust’s 2008 purchase. Current landowner Restoring Lands describes the property as habitat being restored for migratory birds, with trails, ponds, prairie and woodland. As reviewed on October 20, 2026, this record should not be treated as evidence of an operating golf course or available tee times.
