Rio Verde Country Club
Just east of Scottsdale and surrounded by the beauty of the McDowell Mountains and Tonto National Forest, Rio Verde Country Club is a premier 55+ private golf community in Arizona. Designed for active adults who love golf, connection, and year-round outdoor living, Rio Verde offers an exceptional blend of golf, social amenities, and desert scenery. The Club is home to 36-holes of Tom Lehman-designed golf, featuring the walkable Quail Run and White Wing courses. Quail Run, originally opened in 1973, is currently undergoing a full course renovation to modernize infrastructure and elevate the playing experience. White Wing, opened in 1983 and redesigned in 2008, is a par 71 layout known for its beautiful views and member-friendly design. Together, the two courses offer parkland-style play with multiple sets of tees and exceptional conditions year-round. Rio Verde’s 27,000 square-foot clubhouse was recently renovated and now features expanded indoor/outdoor dining, updated interiors, and elevated spaces for both casual and special events. The Box Bar Grille offers refined dining, while The Verde Pub serves as the social hub for post-round favorites like wood-fired pizzas, wings, and cocktails. Two patios with panoramic desert views make the most of every sunset. As a Troon Privé club, members also enjoy access to preferred rates and tee times at Troon’s worldwide portfolio of private and resort properties through Troon Privé Privileges and Troon Advantage. Beyond golf, Rio Verde supports a full lifestyle with tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center, art studio, library, hiking and biking trails, and a wide range of clubs and member-led activities.
