Welcome to Aguila Golf Course Aguila Golf Course will be closed on June 5th and June 6th for aerification. It typically takes about 10 days for the greens to heal. Cart Restrictions: Each guest pays to ride. If you book as a single or threesome, we may have to pair you up with another player in the foursome on a cart. Players always have the option to walk if they do not feel comfortable riding with another player. We also will not allow spectators that are not playing golf to ride along with the group. Carts are available for golfers only. We apologize for the inconvenience. Located at the base of South Mountain, Aguila Golf Course offers golfers of all skill levels an exciting round of golf with beautiful mountain views. Aguila was designed in 2000 by renowned architect, Gary Panks. Aguila exemplifies Panks’ unique ability to create a very playable, yet challenging golf course. Off the tee boxes, golfers are given expansive fairways with strategic bunkering, forcing the player to decide between long irons and drivers. Green approaches are firm and mown tightly to allow golfers to come into the greens with varying trajectories. Each green complex is unique and very well-conditioned. Aguila Golf Course is a terrific choice for your regular rounds of golf, or a new destination for you and your friends when visiting the Phoenix area. This course, long a popular destination for nearby Tucson golf lovers, has the Ajo Mountains to the south and the Childs Mountain to the west. An arroyo cuts through the middle of the course.
