The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove is in Owens Crossroads, Alabama, 15 minutes southeast of Huntsville. The 54-hole facility, located at the northern terminus of the Trail, has terrain that drastically changes from one side of the property to the other. The Short Course is very open and links-like, with water in play on 11 of its 18 holes. Large double greens accommodate the 10th and 17th greens. The Short Course, like the other courses at Hampton Cove, features bent grass greens and Bermuda tees and fairways.
