Durham, NC

Lakeshore Golf Course

Lakeshore is a public 18 hole golf course that opened for business in 1962 in Durham, North Carolina. The course features 5,839 yards from the longest tees for a par of 71 with a course rating of 67.3 and a slope rating of 117 on Bermuda grass. The course is conveniently located in Durham, only minutes from the RDU airport and also very close to Research Triangle Park. The golf course winds its way around a scenic 30 acre lake that also serves as the driving range for the course. Designed by J. Marvin Utley, the Lakeshore golf course opened in 1962 and Lakeshore is proud to say that it is still owned and operated by the same family that built it in the early 1960's. Chip Stallings has served as the Head Golf Professional at Lakeshore since 1995. We hope to see you at the Shore soon!

Larkhaven Golf Club

If You’ll discover a great course and atmosphere -- Built on quality and tradition in 1958, Larkhaven is the oldest public course in the Charlotte area with all the modern amenities.The course features rolling terrain with challenging, sloped greens and narrow, tree-lined fairways. Water hazards come into play on nine holes. From beginner to expert golfers and those in between, the layout of the course will provide challenge and enjoyment to suit everyone’s round. Get ready to use every club in the bag as you experience this traditional layout. Larkhaven offers true “bump and runs” to elevation changes, such as the to a 60-foot elevation drop on the par 3 ninth hole. Our course requires shot making that doesn`t exist on modern day courses. Don`t be fooled by the yardages on the scorecard. The course plays much longer due to the changes in terrain.

Lenoir Golf Club

Lenoir Golf Club is an 18 hole Donald Ross design course located only minutes away from Lenoir-Rhyne College. This course will present a challenge to any level of golfer with its’ tree-lined fairways and streams that come into play. Driving range and putting green are only steps away from the first tee and the clubhouse offers an excellent Grill Room that serves both breakfast and lunch.
