Glendale, AZ

Adobe Dam Family Golf Center

The course at the Adobe Dam Family Golf Center is a 9-hole walking course that is executive by nature. The par-31 design includes one par five and two par fours, and features small greens which require precision shot making. Beginners love the lay-out, and more skilled players find it an excellent way to sharpen up their short games. Don't let the short yardages fool you. This is old time golf, and the greens are very small. To score low on this course you will have to get it "up and down" unless your iron shots are accurate. Holes eight and nine are difficult closing pars and key for a good score.

Sand Hills Golf Club

Sand Hills Golf Resort was established in 1996, and is located 10 minutes south of Grand Bend on Highway 21 at Port Franks Road. This exciting golf facility has 18 challenging holes of golf, an Old Western style clubhouse, and a practice facility that includes a putting and chipping green and a practice bunker. Sand Hills is the perfect golf course for the novice golfer as it is modest in length, but it offers all of the challenges and hazards of a championship golf course. Play from the back tees, and even the advanced golfers will have their work cut out for them. Our longer hitters have to hit well executed tee shots as some of our shorter par 4′s are reachable, but one of the 7 interconnected ponds are waiting to grab your golf ball. If you are skilled enough to find the green on your tee shot, don’t think an easy birdie or eagle is flying your way. There are no flat, straight to the hole putts on the course. Subtle undulations are everywhere on these always fantastic greens. If that is not enough of a challenge for you, there are even some two-tiered greens that will make club selection that much more important. One and two putts will have you smiling, three putts will have you ready for more. Following your round of golf, the staff welcomes you to our beautiful clubhouse. The clubhouse was designed to look like a saloon from the “Old West” Drop into the bar for something to drink or some food you can sink your teeth into prepared fresh and tasty by our food and beverage team. You’ll find our prices, food, and service cannot be beat. The thing that allows Sand Hills Golf Resort to stand out from the crowd is that it offers a challenging course that can be enjoyed by all levels of golfers and that won’t take a whole day to play. So if you are in the North Lambton area, stop by and visit the clubhouse, play a round of golf and enjoy one of our daily lunch special. Sand Hills continues to improve and add onto course conditions each year. We have recently redone all our carts paths and are in progress of replacing certain bunkers with the professional white sand. In years to come, we plan on taking a major step forward in the food and beverage department. Our newly hired chef plans on targeting weddings, catering and other special events. He has designed a new fresh homemade menu and many different buffet options. Not only do we have exceptional course cond
