Though water hazards abound throughout the golf grounds, there are only a few forced carries. In most instances, the water is not an imminent threat and players can find a way around it if they so choose. The other defenses of the course are straggling trees that can block or obscure access to the greens, strategically placed bunkers, and large TifEagle greens that feature pronounced slopes.
