Catawba Country Club

With all the long golf courses measuring over 7,000 yards from the back tees, Catawba would seem to be an easy golf course. Don’t forget, Donald Ross designed this “hidden gem”. What appears to be an easy course by measurements will, as they say, “eat you for lunch.” Like any course, Catawba rewards you for good shots, but the penalties for bad shots can be very costly. Many players have challenged her, thinking they were going to shoot a low number and left scratching their head. It is one of the most enjoyable courses that you will ever play. Don’t take any shots for granted. There are numerous birdie opportunities that can change to bogies with one small mistake. Greens missed in the right place can still offer par but in the wrong place, your score may jump up a few numbers. Once you are on the green, the game has just begun. When the greens are fast, you better be able to make five foot putts. If the greens are slow, the course becomes more manageable. The greens are smooth and reward good putts, but read them from the hole to the ball. It’s the last part of the break that makes the biggest differenc.

Cherry Creek Country Club

When there is a Nicklaus Signature Course Design in your backyard, your view on golf get better no matter how often you play. Cherry Creek Country Club’s design offers a great test of golf at any skill level. You will be astonished at the amazing array of movement, water, landscaping, and 7 sets of tee boxes ranging from 4,981 to 7,450 yards. The course can be setup to challenge a beginner or even to the world’s elite depending on the day. The parkland design includes several risk-reward shots throughout the course and water comes into play on 9 of the 18 holes. Several holes reward accurate driving as “speed slots” can take an ordinary drive and make it extraordinary. This layout makes any day on the course a GREAT day on the course! Cherry Creek Country Club takes pride in our daily course management through progressive techniques in turf care. We utilize the latest advancements in technology to produce award winning course conditions as awarded to us in 2008 with “Best Course Conditions,” and followed up by "Best Overall Experience" in 2012. We pride ourselves to continually seek out and try new techniques that will separate ourselves from other clubs to our members and their guests.

Cincinnati, OH

Clovernook Country Club

Clovernook Country Club features one of the finest Golf Courses in the Greater Cincinnati area. This golf course is not long by today's standards, but length is not what Clovernook is about. Clovernook is about the greens and the tree lined fairways. Our Golf Course is one of the oldest and most unique in the Greater Cincinnati area. Originally designed in 1923 by Golf Course Architects, Langford and Moreau, Clovernook remains virtually the same. The two creeks winding throughout the course, the lake fronting both 17 and 18, the gently rolling terrain, numerous varieties of 100+ year old trees, and the lightning fast greens give our players all the challenge necessary for a great day of golf. In 2001 we underwent a bunker renovation to bring Clovernook back to the original nature of the golf course. Our recent emphasis on horticultural beauty has added the southern touch of color making Clovernook even more unique.
