Quarry Pines Golf Club

The Pines offers a mix of dramatic elevation changes and stunning mountain views with 18 enjoyable holes. Our friendly service will add to your adventure to make your outing a one-of-a-kind Arizona golfing experience. In December 1997, "Tucson`s first Scottish Links style course", The Links at Continental Ranch, opened for play. The Links, which was designed by Brian Huntley, was built on the edge of a 90+ acre, 100 foot deep sand and gravel quarry. In 2000, following the decision to abandon the sand and gravel quarry, the Town of Marana and the quarry/golf course owner agreed on a plan that would reclaim the quarry by relocating 10 golf holes into the old quarry and reconfigure 8 of the existing holes. The remaining land provided for residential development in an area previously zoned for industrial use. To complete the transformation, the property owner agreed to build a nature trail along the adjacent Santa Cruz River and donate it to the Town of Marana thereby allowing local residents to enjoy the Santa Cruz River on one side of the trail and dramatic views into The Pines Golf Club on the other. The reclamation of quarries by the construction of golf courses has become increasingly popular due to a number of factors, including; creation of a community asset instead of a community eyesore, more efficient use of water resources due to the water run off from slopes and most importantly from the golfer’s point of view, dramatic elevation changes and golf course design opportunities that are not normally available at more traditional sites. Given the elevation changes and the addition of thousands of trees it was determined that the Links name was no longer appropriate and therefore when the new course opened for play in October 2003, The Pines Golf Club at Marana was born. "Tucson`s first Scottish Links style course was transformed into "Tucson`s first quarry course".

River Club

The semi-private River Club has proven to be one of the most challenging courses in the Myrtle Beach area and features A-1 Bent grass greens. The only course in the South Strand to have Bent grass greens, this Tom Jackson signature course is one of the premier plantation courses and a favorite among returning golfers. True to its name, River Club features water on 15 of 18 holes and over 100 sand traps and bunkers. Long hitters have some room off the tee, but approach shots need to be true. The dramatic par-5 18th is unquestionably one of the finest finishing holes on the Grand Strand, offering risk and reward to those who can carry the water twice for a possible chance at eagle.

Spring Brook Golf Course

Located just east of the city of Mora (pop. 3,300) Spring Brook Golf Course and Country Club offers guests a beautiful 18-hole championship layout that can test the skills of even the most elite players. The Front nine holes allow players ample room to hit the rolling fairways, but miss any of the elevated, well-bunkered greens and bogey or worse is likely. The Back nine holes are literally cut out of the woods and lowlands of the property. Short and tight fairways force players to use every club in their bag. The slippery slopes of the back-side greens emphasize the importance of well placed approach shots.
