Tubac Golf Resort & Spa in Tubac, Arizona, is one of Southern Arizona’s finest. Tubac is a 27-hole championship golf course that provides a fun and varied golf experience. The first 18 golf holes were designed in 1959 by renowned golf course architect Robert “Red” Lawrence, and in 2006, Ken Kavanaugh added nine new golf holes. The golf course features the most challenging fairways set against the breathtakingly beautiful Arizona skyline. The Anza Nine starts with five new holes and finishes with the former 10th, 11th and 18th holes. The track features beautiful views of the Santa Ritas, numerous bunkers and strategically placed water hazards. The Rancho Nine is a true adventure for golfers, as it features the famous par 5 in "Tin Cup", as well as the infamous Tubac Triangle that requires first and last drives to carry the Santa Cruz River. The distances of these nine holes are daunting, and the wilderness feel of the golf course leaves golfers with an exciting and picturesque experience. The Otero Nine has a parkland feel that highlights the golfer’s experience. The fairways meander through some of the original homes and casitas of the resort, providing a lush atmosphere.
