About the course

Tiburon Golf Club, founded in 1989 by Drella Inc, began as an 18 hole golf club with a 4500 square foot clubhouse surrounded by corn fields and gravel roads. In 1994, Drella Inc. added a third nine hole course now known as the Mako nine. In 2004, Tiburon Golf Club was purchased by Bob and Karen Hill. Already owning one golf course in Blair, RiverWilds, the Hills had experience in golf course industry and quickly saw a need for some vast changes. In 2005, construction began on the clubhouse, which now features over 13,000 square feet, including the Sharks Sports bar, a fully expanded golf shop, and a beautiful banquet facility that can accommodate up to 400 guests. In 2008, Tiburon Golf Club now offers the complete package of a beautiful 27 hole championship golf course as well as a remarkable clubhouse.
