A Bruce Matthews Design, The Pines is fair yet challenging for all golfers, from the beginner to even the most experienced golfer. A mature course (over 40 years old), The Pines is located next to Lake Isabella, a scenic 875 acre lake, located in the heart of Central Michigan. When playing from our 15th tee, one can overlook the beautiful lake as well as stand atop the dam separating the lake from the Chippewa River. We offer championship, men’s, and women’s tees, as well as forward tees for seniors and juniors. During the fall months, when the leaves begin to fall, The Pines does not encounter the hassle that most golf courses experience with leaf problems. This is due to the vast amount of pine trees that surround the course. The Pines is located just 12 miles west of Mt. Pleasant, a short drive from Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort and Central Michigan University. We offer many options for leagues and outings as well as daily golf and food specials.
