*DESCRIPTION: Legendary champion Jack Nicklaus took advantage of the high Sonoran Desert setting to integrate strategy, variety and fair shot values into his Signature Design luxury golf course at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Arizona. The Golf Club at Dove Mountain is his first Tucson golf course in 25 years. Nicklaus created 27 holes with unique challenges and distinct character, blending naturally among noble saguaros and the surrounding Tortolita Mountain Range. This luxury golf resort has elevations ranging from 2,300 to 3,200 feet to challenge even the most seasoned pro. ***THIS IS A 27 HOLE FACILITY THAT USES AUTOMATIC TURN TIMES FOR 18 HOLE ROUNDS. [The Three 9 Hole Courses are:] Saguaro (Course 1) - Set against the backdrop of a majestic Saguaro cactus forest to the West Tortolita (Course 2)- Fifth through the eighth holes wander through a secluded canyon. Grassy hillside stadium setting surrounds the ninth green, ideal for matches that go the distance. Course winds along the base of the Tortolita Mountains Wild Burro (Course 3)- Jack Nicklaus' favorite nine holes at Dove Mountain. Incredible vistas of the Tortolita Mountains highlight several points on the course. The fifth green includes a panoramic view of The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain Resort *GOLF SHOP HOURS: Open from 730am-5pm The offseason is June-September. *DRIVING RANGE: Included with the price of golf NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Only open to people playing golf that day, people staying at the hotel, or members. Same dress code as the course. Hits off saw grass year round. If a guest is staying at the hotel and wants to borrow clubs they can do so. *PRACTICE FACILITIES: Putting, chipping greens and practice bunkers available for all players. *CLUB AMENITIES: Fully stocked golf shop with clothes and equipment. Locker facilities for men and women. Showers for men and women. 2 showers located in the restroom area Towels provided for men's and women's showers. *CLUB RENTAL: Calloway. $80 for 18 holes and $60 for 9 holes.
