The original eighteen holes opened in 1997, followed by the addition of a new nine holes opened in 2002. Noted for its three distinct nines, golfers of all ages and skill levels will find a fun, challenging but fair layout . With five sets of tees to choose from, the well manicured grounds of the golf course are playable for golfers on any level. The golf course offers many spectacular views and every measure was taken to preserve the natural beauty this land has to offer. Woods and wetlands surround the Old Red Barn to create target golf with Old West flair on the Stag Nine. The Eagle Nine rounds out the course, offering surprising length and creative shots within a mix of meadow and creek-side terrain. Casper, WY

Casper Municipal Golf Club

The City of Casper maintains a 27-hole complex at the Casper Municipal Golf Course. The Park, Links, and Highlands nines can be play in varying combinations. This review focuses on the par 35 Park course which, along with the Highlands nine, was designed by Robert Muir Graves prior to its opening in 1929. When you get Casper Municipal Golf Course discount tee times, you'll experience classic, early 20th century golf, thanks to tight, tree-lined fairways and small greens. As was common in that era in the western U.S., the greens were sand. In 1953, the course was upgraded to include Bentgrass greens. As you traverse the 3,004 yards of the Park nine, you'll negotiate back-to-back par fives on nos. three and four. The whole time, one can savor the panoramic mountain views when you get tee times in Casper here. When played along with the Links nine, the overall slope is 115, and the course rating is 69.4. This Casper golf course includes a driving range, practice green, practice areas for your short game. Enjoy the services of a PGA pro that can demonstrate the latest equipment, fit and repair clubs, and provide lessons. The Caddyshack restaurant will attend to your snacks and sandwiches during and after your round. Enjoy some "nineteenth hole" libation as you unwind after your round. The Park nine is part of a 27-hole layout that may be one of the best golf courses in Wyoming among the municipal courses.
