Christiansburg, VA
The Meadows Golf and Swim Club features a championship, 18-hole golf course designed by architect Ray Vaughn, Sr. and opened for play in 1955 making it one of oldest continually running golf courses in the New River Valley. This mountain style track began as a nine hole course, and the back nine was added in 1975. The front nine has larger greens, and the entire course plays through rolling terrain. The fairways are tree lined and lead to greens that vary in size, speed and undulation. There are beautiful mountain views throughout the course, and water comes into play on 15 holes. There are multiple tees to challenge all handicaps that play from 4,566 to 5,854 total yards.
Golf One has not found authoritative public-access evidence for this course yet. The course remains in the guide without a public-play claim.
