Welcome to the New York State Parks Reservation System for Montauk Downs State Park! ATTENTION GOLFERS: -To further protect online reservation availability we have implemented a two-factor authentication process for all bookings as of 11/24/25. We hope this added security feature will ensure the tee time booking process is fair and enjoyable for all our golfers. For more information, please contact the clubhouse at 631-668-5000. - The grill room is now open for 2026 as of April 1st. GENERAL INFO: Montauk Downs Golf Course Clubhouse opens at 5:15am Twilight Tee Times start at 4:00pm and last Tee Time of the day is 7:00pm. All golfers must purchase their tickets at least one hour prior to their tee time Walkup tee times are available the first hour of play on a first come first service basis. There are walkup times throughout the day that can also be booked the morning of in person. Walkup times that do not get booked or sold the morning of will be released back to the reservation system. If you have any questions about using the system or have problems registering, please call the Front Office at 631-668-5000. If you are not already registered, please press log in and then sign up for free; fill out the registration form with the required information. The only form of identification that is acceptable for proving New York State residency when registering in the reservation system is either a New York State Driver's license or a New York State Non-Driver's Identification Card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicle. If you do not possess either one of those forms of identification, then please select "Other" under booking class or Non-Resident. If there is no option to choose from, please try using a different browser. Google Chrome is the preferred browser. Verified NYS Residents may book a reservation one (1) week in advance starting at 7pm while Out of State Residents may make reservations five (5) days in advance starting at 7pm. If you are turning 62 years or older in the current year and a resident of NY State with either a NYS Driver’s License or a NYS Non-Driver Identification Card, then you are entitled to receive a discounted senior rate weekday only.
