Cannon Falls, MN

Cannon Golf Club

Running along the Cannon River in southern Minnesota is Cannon Golf Club, an intriguing course sprinkled with wetlands, ponds and streams that make for a fantastic round of golf. This is a traditional course that can be walked by those seeking a traditional experience. Our golf course lies in an oak savannah where the prairie meets the water. Many holes require facing the dangers of water and of narrow fairways lined with staunch burl oaks that are 100's of years old. Precise and accurate shot making are required here. Cannon Golf Club lends itself to shot making, as many of our holes require you or tease you to move the ball one way or the other. Here you'll find small targets, well-placed hazards and some tough par three's. Another unmistakable feature is the natural beauty of the course. Large, mature burl oaks set along the Cannon River, streams and ponds give the course an elegance and charm that only comes with age. It's a year-round haven for bald eagles, red tailed hawks, white pelicans, Canadian geese and other birds. This is a course you'll want to play again and again until you solve the puzzles and find the strategies to handle the hazards and holes.

Pine Island, MN

Pine Island Golf Course

The Pine Island Golf Course opened Labor Day weekend in 1994. Before this, the course was only a dream that became true for the people in and around Pine Island. A cooperative was formed, stock was sold, land was purchased, the course was designed and the dream became a reality being built by the stockholders themselves. Today, the course is 18 holes built on 140 acres. Fairways are wide with multiple tees on every hole, greens are huge and there are the tree, water, sand and rock hazards. The course is challenging for both the advanced, the beginner, the young and the old. The bottom line, Pine Island Golf Course is a very exciting, scenic and challenging 6603 yard 18 hole layout playing from the championship tees. There is also a full driving range and putting practice facilities. If you play it you will love it. Then you will understand why PIGC is Golfing At Its Best.
