Bloomington, IL

The Den at Fox Creek

The Den at Fox Creek became the City of Bloomington's third golf course when it opened on August 1, 1997. This Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course measures 6,926 yards from the Palmer Tees and 5,345 yards from the Forward Tees. USGA Course Ratings and Slope Ratings are 72.9 and 128, respectively. Bentgrass tees, greens and fairways compliment the Wild Prairie Grasses which grow in the rough to make a picturesque Scottish Links Style golf course. The course features 131 strategically placed sand traps, making the extremely wide fairways even more attractive. Water hazards are located on 9 of the 18 holes. Other amenities include an extremely large practice putting green, a large practice chipping green (with practice sand bunker) and a very large grass driving range with several target greens. A full-line Golf Shop offers golf equipment and apparel at discount prices.

The Glen Club

The Grove Country Club

The Grove Country Club opened in 2011, providing reciprocal play options to The Royal Fox Country Club located in St. Charles, Illinois. The Grove, originally founded in 1964, features a 7,000-yard, par 72 layout designed by Robert B Harris. Four other sets of tees, ranging from 6,800 to 5,000 yards, make the course eminently playable for any ability level.

The Highlands of Elgin

The new quarry nine is now open! The original nine holes flow over beautiful rolling terrain, creating a diverse collection of holes. The new nine holes reclaim an old stone quarry, and take maximum advantage of the unique and dramatic landforms that were left behind, including a twelve acre quarry lake. Four holes hug the top of the bluff thirty to forty feet above the water providing golfers with incredible views and numerous shot options on each hole. The collection of eighteen holes now provides golfers with an adventure through a variety of unique golf holes in a beautiful setting. The prairie style clubhouse features an expanded golf shop, locker rooms, event rooms with expansive ceilings and a full scale food and beverage operations. Legends Golf Course is a new 9-hole executive golf course that opened on the west side of Champaign, Illinois in the Spring of 2008. The affordable course is the perfect scene for all types of golfers, especially the beginner. With a variety of tee stations, seven par 3′s and two par 4′s, the golf course suits the beginner, novice, and even the pros! The golf course is open to the public March-December! Located in Plainfield, Illinois, just 45 minutes from Chicago, The Links at Carillion offers three 9-hole golf courses for golfers of all skill levels to enjoy. All 27 holes of golf at The Links at Carillion were designed by Greg Martin and feature bent grass fairways, large undulating greens and five sets of tees.
