After reaching the crescendo, all you see is a clear blue ocean, swaying palm trees and a panoramic view from Keauhou to Kona. Take a moment on our par 3, hole #5 and #14. Both holes feature exotic drops from tee to green. Hole 14 is the highest point of the course and is the most picturesque hole. There is a waterfall surrounded by red bougainvillea and black lava rock, scenic lake and miles of ocean as far as the eye can see. The Mountain Course is enriched in Hawaiian culture. This area was a favorite playground for Hawaiian royalties known as Alii. You’ll see Hawaiian wild goats moving throughout the back nine. Golf Digest Magazine rated the Mountain Course as 4 stars and ESPN, Zagat Guide recognized it as one of the top facilities in the nation. The front nine was designed by William Bell in 1985.
