Water presents the primary threat to par at the very playable Myakka Pines Golf Club. Most of the hazards are on the sides of the fairways and greens. The White nine has the most water in play, while the Blue has the least. Provided you utilize the proper set of tees, all levels of players should find a manageable distance that isn’ t intimidating. The well-conditioned greens are also rather flat and undramatic and not too fast, so you should be able to put a confident stroke on your putts. Because of the heavy volume of play here, only members are permitted to walk until late in the afternoon. Practice facilities at Myakka Pines Golf Club include a driving range and putting green. The club’ s snack bar/restaurant features comfort food for lunch. Service generally stops in the mid-afternoon.
