Salinas, CA

Salinas Golf & Country Club

Great golf is what members and guests of Salinas Golf & Country Club have come to expect for decades. We do not disappoint! It starts with a traditional golf course, laid out by Jack Flemming in the Golden Age of U.S. golf course design. For the golfer that means fairways lined with mature trees and smaller, quick greens. This is not cookie-cutter, condo-encroached golf. This is golf, pure and simple. Add to great golf the 21st century techniques and methods being introduced at Salinas G&CC through our relatively new association with Greenway Golf, the nation's leading golf agronomists and you arrive at our first tee to play some of the best golf on God's Green Earth!

The Sea Ranch, CA

Sea Ranch Golf Links

The Sea Ranch Golf Links is right on the Northern California coastline in Sea Ranch, California, about a three-hour drive north from San Francisco. Designed by Robert Muir Graves and completed in 1974, the first nine holes at the Sea Ranch quickly made its way onto the list of exciting and scenic golf destinations. In 1995 this “Gem of the Seaside” links was completed at 6,649 yards, par 72, when Graves’ second nine was opened. The course’s blend of undulating seaside landscape with Scottish links-style architecture was a first on the West Coast. The Sea Ranch remains unique on the North Coast and is one of the most highly regarded golf experiences in California. The front nine winds its way out to and along the coastline of the Pacific, with numerous ocean views, beautiful redwoods and natural sea-grass rough. With well-maintained greens and four different tee boxes per hole, the Sea Ranch can be as challenging or as docile as you want to make it. Two short-game areas, which include a practice putting green, a pitching/bunker green, and a full grass driving range, allow for a complete warm-up before your round. Golf carts, a well-appointed golf shop and a snack bar round out the Sea Ranch Golf Links experience. The course is open for play all year, weather permitting. California Golf: The Ultimate Guide lists the Sea Ranch Golf Links, along with Pebble Beach, Cypress Point, Spyglass Hill and The Links at Spanish Bay, as one of the 10 most picturesque golf courses in California. Golf Digest named the course one of its "Places to Play" in 1998 and the top new affordable course in California. California Golf listed Sea Ranch in its "Expert's Top 50" out of more than 1,000 California golf courses.
