Course photo for Arizona National Golf ClubPublic tee-time evidence

Tucson, AZ

Arizona National Golf Club

Arizona National (formerly The Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs) is desert golf at its finest. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the golf course meanders among the foothills of Tucson`s beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains as it follows the rugged natural flow of the land across shady mesquite-lined arroyos and skirts craggy rock outcroppings. Along the way, its diverse 6,785-yard layout will throw enough tough decisions and classic golf-in-the-desert challenges at you to test the very limits of your ability. Yet, it has the flexibility to do so without ever becoming unfair. And, its always fun! As compensation for the challenge, you`ll also get to enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery of any golf course in the Southwest, including panoramic mountain vistas, forests of giant saguaros, and the rare beauty of nine natural springs.

Course photo for Las Sendas Golf ClubPublic tee-time evidence

Mesa, AZ

Las Sendas Golf Club

Range balls are included with all rounds! Las Sendas is a nature walk through the desert, attracting you with beauty and challenging you with shot options. You can`t wait to get back and play it again. Las Sendas requires you to think your way around to play it well. Here, old foxes can outwit young limberbacks. Just hitting the ball will not be enough. You must favor the correct sides of the fairways to obtain the best angles to the greens. Some holes require a little governor, or lay-up, so as not to leave you with an impossible view to the greens. Generally, the greens are subtle. But, be very precise when you read the break to avoid slipping past the hole, as the land mostly falls toward the southwest and the grass grows toward the setting sun. Las Sendas is not a course contrived with artifice, decor, or railroad ties, nor is it a target course. It is a strategic course, so learn the preferred route from tee to green. It is a Wild West Course, and you`d better bring your six-gun, because you`re going to have to shoot it here. Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Designer of Las Sendas
