Villa de Paz Golf Course

Voted the best, inexpensive 18 holes in the "Valley of the Sun" as featured by the Arizona Republic newspaper, Villa de Paz Golf Club is Arizona`s best golfing value. The course was built in the early 1970`s and is one of the oldest 18-hole facilities on the west side of Phoenix. A traditional, parkland-style layout, Villa de Paz is a challenge to even the most experienced players. It is also easy enough that the novice and beginning golfer will also have an enjoyable expereince. Remodeled in the fall of 2002, the 6,700 yard, par-71 layout features a variety of challenges with water coming into play on 10 of the 18 holes. It`s the perfect choice to play in the summer because of the abundant shade thanks to the mature trees that line many of the fairways.

The results have been spectacular, with the Gold Course recently vaulting to the top of best-in-state rankings. And, unlike the many desert golf courses found throughout the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, The Wigwam’s Gold, Blue and Red courses are all true parkland courses.
