It is one of only 10 courses in the Charleston area with a four-star or higher rating and along with sister course Crowfield Golf Plantation the only non-resort courses to earn this outstanding rating.Nestled among the Carolina pines, live oaks, and dogwoods, Pine Forest awaits the golfer searching for a championship course reminiscent of Pinehurst. With tree lined fairways, and elevated greens, Pine Forest will challenge golfers of all levels. Widely considered one of the most challenging golf courses in the Lowcountry, the course provides a series of challenges that brings out every club in your bag as it meanders through a beautiful lake system. While all 18 pose a unique challenge, the holes that stand out the most are 3, 4, 12, 14, & 17. Recent modifications on the more difficult holes have made them a little easier to play.
