The historic Lakeview Course was designed by James Harrison, with the first nine holes completed in 1950 and the second nine finished in 1954. As one of the best all around West Virginia golf courses, the Lakeview Course is rated four stars by Golf Digest and has been rated among the Top 100 public courses in America. This par 72 course offers an intricate tree-lined design, featuring large undulating greens, tight fairways and scenic views. In short, it is a golfers “ultimate” challenge. The Lakeview Course offers two signature holes. The 564-yard 7th hole that features a 180-foot vertical drop from tee to green, and offers beautiful views of Cheat Lake. The 620-yard 18th hole is one of the most challenging par fives you’ll ever encounter. This green has never been reached in two. Are you up for the challenge?
