Owned and operated by the city of Delray, this premier executive course is a par 60 that measures just over 3,000 yards from the back tees. It's been a local favorite for years, perfect for seniors, juniors and just about anyone who's looking to have fun without too much stress. In fact, it's earned the mantra, "Hit all the shots in half the time," as players can get in a quick round any time of day. Lakeview Golf Club -- the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship-sized course located less than a mile northeast off of Atlantic Avenue -- was once listed as one of the of the ?Top 50 Short Courses in America? by Golf Range Magazine. The terrain is flat at Lakeview, but the conditioning is always excellent. There are 14 par 3s, and many of them are certainly challenging, ranging from 96 yards to 172 yards. The other four holes are par 4s, with the longest being the eighth at 272 yards.? The course features several lakes and ponds with the largest body of water coming into play on holes four through six. There are also two sets of tees, with the shorter set playing 2,711 yards.
