Island Pointe Golf Club (formerly known as River Islands) was designed by internationally renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills. This spectacular course features numerous holes crossing or playing along the French Broad River. With four holes located on islands in the middle of the river, Island Pointe offers a truly unique golf experience. A "must play" in the Knoxville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Island Pointe has received Golf Digest`s prestigious 4-star rating. With water on 9 holes and beautiful Zoysia fairways, Island Pointe offers a challenging yet beautiful experience. At 7,001 yards, the course is a worthy adversary to scratch golfers from the "tips", but plays a manageable 6,300 yards from the regular tees. The course travels along the edge of the French Broad River, with three islands in the middle of the river serving as a focal point of the course. The championship layout and manicured conditions make Island Pointe a consistently superb playing experience.
