Enjoy a unique golfing experience at the Iron Eagle Golf Course, North Platte’s finest and one of Nebraska’s best Public Golf Courses. The natural river front setting provides the Native and Traveler alike, an opportunity to enjoy nature and golf the way it should be; enjoyed with relaxation, beauty, and excitement, all built into one golf course. On this challenging and scenic 18-hole public facility, the Platte River comes into play on several holes. Tight native tree-lined fairways, large undulating greens, strategically placed sand bunkers, and of course, additional lakes on several holes make the challenge more interesting. The course layout is such that it can easily be walked, but long enough to test all skill levels. With 4 sets of tees, you choose the level of difficulty you wish to play. All this just off Interstate 80. Take exit 179, go north 1/4 mile or less, go west 1/2 mile, and you are at the first tee. If you choose to take exit 177, go north 1/4 mile, turn east at the first light, get on Halligan Drive and follow it to the Iron Eagle entrance.
