WELCOMING ALL Recently upgraded, with tee-times now available to non- members, Desert Island is a private golf club experience, with traditional amenities and privileges, embracing the diversity of new-generation golfers and old-guard players alike. VINTAGE LEGACY Established in 1971, the 18-hole championship golf course on Desert Island was designed by the legendary Desmond Muirhead, one of golf’s most famous and iconoclastic architects, who spent PLAYABLE The Desert Island course is panoramic from every angle, challenging but not outlandish, with gentle slopes, cooling breezes from the 25 acre lake, plenty of shade from the tree- lined fairways and short distances between greens and tees. WALKABLE Walking is healthy, social, and helps optimize course conditions. Desert Island off ers the most pleasant walking golf in the Coachella Valley: Leather & chrome, easy-roll, Walker Trolleys equipped with chilled towels, insulated water bottles, and shade umbrellas.
