Compass Pointe Golf Course is a 36-hole, championship-caliber public golf facility designed by award-winning architect Lindsay Ervin. The course is Anne Arundel County’s newest and finest public golf facility, where golfers are treated to premium golf at an affordable price. Opened in 2003-2004, the course has four 9-hole courses - North, South, East and West. The courses stretch across more than 800 acres of diverse woodland, featuring streams, ponds, high fescue grass and abundant native wildlife. The North nine offers players an open, links-style experience, while the remaining three courses are heavily tree-lined, challenging golfers to hit straight, safe shots. Compass Pointe Golf Course provides a wide variety of golf terrains and challenges with tees fit for golfers of all skill levels. The North course is the only course that plays on the other side of the road, reached by going over the bridge. The South and East courses are right next to each other, near the gazebo. The West course is located on the other side of the facility and is reached by taking the back path towards the maintenance facility. *Course Locations North East- Start's over the Bridge South West- Start's along the Driving Range *GOLF SHOP HOURS: Open dawn til dusk (same hours as course) *DRIVING RANGE: Open dawn til dusk (same hours as course). $6 (55 balls), $10 (110 balls). Also offer a grass tee (call for availability) Dress code does not apply. *PRACTICE FACILITIES: Large putting green. Smaller green used for putting and chipping. *CLUB RENTALS: $25 Nike Irons and Nike MachSpeed Driver and 3 wood Unisex clubs available for women. Available for men, 1 set for women, 1 set for lefties. No junior clubs for rent. *CLUB AMENITIES: Fully stocked golf shop with clothes and equipment. No lockers or showers.
